Graphic design and product identity from Barcelona. Since 2003 our job is to help products and brands to be understandable and exciting.
We create labels, packaging and brands for a diversity of local and international clients, small and big. We long to build great collaboration relationships with them, and to take great care of conceptual quality, graphic execution and attention to detail in the design projects that we do. Proud to be a small studio in control.
Joan Josep Bertran
Vilafranca del Penedès, 1976
Design Director / Founder
In 2003 Bertran set up his own independent graphic design studio in Barcelona after returning from Sydney, Australia, where he worked as a designer for Feeder Studio. Since then, he has been involved in branding and packaging projects and his studio is now providing design and consulting services to a diverse clientele in Spain and abroad. He previously worked at Springer&Jacoby Barcelona as a designer and advertising art director for Mercedes-Benz, following his initial internships and jobs as a designer at other studios in Barcelona.
He did join the team late in 2016. He previously worked with TL3 on identity and VR projects for different gastronomy brands and with the Miscellaneous Studio on integrated design and marketing campaigns. He is a graduate in Design at BAU, where he is still involved in artistic and design research with BAU alumni groups. He has training in such disciplines as publishing, audiovisuals and art. He took part in the Blanc Festival, introducing a research project on error as a creative method.
A recent graduate from BAU Design School Barcelona, she complements her work as a graphic designer with her enthusiasm for photography. She undertakes design and art direction for personal projects in the publishing design field. She joined us at the end of 2016.
